The Rehabilitation Clinic in Ystad is a unit responsible for rehabilitation within inpatient care, specialized outpatient care, and day rehabilitation. We consist of 40 employees with various professions such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, nursing assistants, care assistants, medical secretaries, managerial support, and nurses. Today, we have 14 physiotherapists working in teams with other professionals across the hospital's various departments and clinics.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Your placement will be at the gynecology clinic in Ystad.
Your tasks will include assessing, training, and rehabilitating women and men with obstetric, gynecological, and urological (OGU) diagnoses based on the latest evidence in the field. You will have your own outpatient visits and conduct both theoretical and practical patient education for various diagnosis groups. This aims to maintain good accessibility for our patients through pelvic floor schools and basic body awareness.
You will act as a consultant to the surgical department, delivery, and maternity ward. You will also be part of teams such as the endometriosis team and vulva team. The position also includes knowledge dissemination and professional development both internally and externally. Weekend work in the hospital's departments is included in the position.
We work closely with doctors, midwives, nurses, social workers, medical secretaries, and nursing assistants in both outpatient and inpatient settings. We see great value in being able to collaborate and communicate with others.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare and who wants to continue developing in your work. You have language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale. You either have a master's degree or a master's degree and a recognized degree from the Swedish Physiotherapists' specialist board in an appropriate specialist area with a focus on OGU.
It is advantageous if you have experience with OGU and outpatient work, as well as training in communication skills and group-led activities.
We would like you to be treatment-oriented, flexible, able to work independently, not afraid to take your own initiatives, able to maintain calm even in a high-paced environment, and humble towards both patients and colleagues. These abilities contribute to your ability to provide high-quality care and create good relationships. We hope to find someone driven to work in OGU and who sees meaning and challenge in working in this area and with this position. Personal suitability is highly valued.
